What are the functions and relevant regulations of external scaffolding?

[edit] An indispensable construction tool
Scaffolding outside buildings is an indispensable and important erection tool in construction projects. Its functions: First, it allows construction workers to operate at different parts of heights; second, it ensures the safety of construction workers when operating at heights. These two functions often coexist at the same time. Only by protecting safety can the role of high-altitude operations be brought into play; if it cannot ensure safety, construction workers cannot operate on it. Of these two functions, protecting people's safety is the first.
Only when construction workers have a sufficient sense of security when performing construction operations on scaffolding, the construction progress and project quality can be adequately guaranteed, and good economic benefits can be created. Otherwise, once the scaffolding is in danger, it will cause multiple casualties and cause heavy losses. Therefore, when formulating scaffolding erection plans and erecting scaffolding, quality must be firmly controlled.
There are many types of scaffolding, and there are many types of external scaffolding alone. According to the purpose, there are structural scaffolding, decoration scaffolding, and protective scaffolding; according to the materials used, there are scaffolding, bamboo scaffolding, and metal scaffolding; according to the structure form, there are many pole types, frame types, bridge types, hanging, hanging, Pick type etc.
[edit] Safety technical measures for external scaffolding
The order of scaffolding erection is: level the site and compact it - paving board and base - vertical pole - sweeping pole - small horizontal pole - erect temporary diagonal brace pole - connecting wall pole - scissor brace - railing - Paving scaffolding boards - Hanging safety nets horizontally on the inside of poles - Setting up pocket nets
- The steel pipe has an outer diameter of 48mm and a thickness of 3.5m, and its materials have certificates of quality. Fasteners should meet the requirements of KT33-8, and all fasteners should have factory certificates.
- The foundation must be compacted during erection. Generally, the height of construction scaffolding should not exceed 25m, and a 50mm thick scaffolding pad and metal base should be laid. Temporary supports or solid connection points should be set up, and horizontal bars, vertical bars, and scissor braces should be implemented in accordance with regulations. Tools and other accessories used for erecting scaffolding must be passed or tied with ropes, and throwing is strictly prohibited.
- The boards must be fully covered, and no probe boards are allowed. Unqualified boards are prohibited from being used.
- The pull connection between the frame and the main body must be carried out in accordance with regulations (the vertical limit does not exceed 4 meters, the horizontal limit does not exceed 7 meters, and the pull joints are set). The shelf should be set up in layers and checked for acceptance.
- Erection personnel who have high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. who are not suitable for working at heights are not allowed to operate on the rack.
- The erection personnel must wear safety helmets and seat belts, put tool parts in tool bags, put on skates, and tie cuffs and trousers tightly.
- The scaffolder must fasten the safety belt to a reliable safety position during operation. Safety belts for erect workers can be hung low and used high. Anyone who does not wear a safety belt will be punished as illegal work.
- When dismantling the scaffolding, the scaffolding should be dismantled gradually from top to bottom in the order of dismantling the last one first. Do not work up and down at the same time. When dismantling the large crossbar, when using scissor braces, you should first remove the middle buckle and then the two buckles, and operate from the middle. The person passes the rod downwards.
- Scaffolding must be dismantled in strict accordance with the dismantling plan and in accordance with technical instructions for safe production.
- Before erecting the shelf, engineering and technical personnel should prepare a construction plan, which should be comprehensive and submitted to the company's technical department for approval.
- After the erection of the shelf is completed, the construction leader must organise relevant personnel to inspect and accept the shelf. The shelf can only be delivered for use after passing the inspection. Layer-by-layer acceptance must be carried out layer by layer.
