In June 2024 we celebrated 12 years of Designing Buildings; its aim is to put construction industry knowledge in one place, and make it available to everyone free. In the past 12 years, 19,000 articles have been added to the site covering the planning, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of built assets. There are over 6,000 definitions and 4,000 acronyms, making it the broadest resources of information for construction anywhere in the world.
The site has been used by millions people from every part of the industry and from every part of the world, and we continue to provide everything for free.
