Alexander Tower, Berlin

In June 2016, the German property agency BEWOCON submitted plans for a new skyscraper in the centre of Berlin. At 150 m tall, the Alexander Berlins Capital (ABC) Tower will be the tallest in the city.
The tower will include 475 residential apartments spread over 39 storeys, with spa and gym facilities, private cinema, residents terrace and club levels, as well as underground parking facilities for cars and bicycles. It will also contain six storeys of commercial and retail space.
The tower will be located on Alexanderstrasse, near the tallest structure in Germany, the Fernsehturm Berlin which has a height of 368 m.
The designs were first mooted in the city's 1994 Master Plan, as part of the regeneration initiative for the Alexanderplatz area of central Berlin. Years of discussions and alterations have lead to the point at which BEWOCON are confident that full planning permission will be granted by September 2016. Construction is expected to begin before the start of 2017.
