ECA Industry Awards 2025
Talent and achievements in the electrotechnical industry were recognised with prestigious accolades at the ECA Industry Awards held on Friday 10 October 2025.
The ceremony was hosted by comedian and actress Ellie Taylor, alongside compere Alan Dedicoat – the voice of Strictly Come Dancing and the National Lottery.
Helen Atkinson, Director of Member Services at ECA, said: “This year’s Industry Awards entries were a powerful reflection of the incredible impact ECA Members are making across the electrotechnical and engineering industry. Their passion and dedication to deliver excellence, as well as their commitment to support the next generation, will help drive forward the journey towards electrification. Congratulations to all the winners and highly commended runners-up.”
The awards were:
- Best Client Partnership. Winner: West & West - Highly commended runner-up: Geoffrey Robinson - Award sponsor: Legrand
- Best Fire and Security Project. Winner: Early Birds Fire Protection - Award sponsor: Espire
- Best Health, Safety and Environment Initiative. Winner: Midwest Mechanical and Electrical Services - Award sponsor: Milwaukee.
- Best New Business. Winner: BSN Electrical - Highly commended runner-up: Lifetime Electrical Services - Award sponsor: DiLog
- Best Supply Chain Partnership. Winner: Source Electrical Services - Highly commended runner-up: Powercor - Award sponsor: Europa
- Best Sustainability Net Zero Project. Winner: F B Taylor Cable Contractors - Award sponsor: CEF
- Contractor of the Year (up to £1 million turnover). Winner: O’Connor Electrical - Award sponsor: Electric Center
- Contractor of the Year (up to £5 million turnover). Winner: North East Installations - Highly commended runner-up: EME Electrical - Award sponsor: EAL
- Contractor of the Year (up to £15 million turnover). Winner: West & West - Highly commended runner-up: Vic Coupland - Award sponsor: NVC Lighting
- Contractor of the Year (up to £45 million turnover). Winner: Elecomm - Highly commended runner-up: Midwest Mechanical and Electrical Services - Award sponsor: Edmundson Electrical (London)
- ECA Large Contractor of the Year. Winner: SES Engineering Services - Award sponsor: Luceco
- Excellence in Apprenticeship Training. Winner: Geoffrey Robinson - Highly commended runner-up: Ceetech / Grays Electrical Engineering - Award sponsor: JTL
- Fire Detection and Alarm Industry. Winner: Paul Turner, Lead Auditor, BAFE - Award sponsor: AICO
- Major Contribution to the Industry. Winner: Martin Bailey.
- Security Systems Industry. Winner: John Davidson, Approval Schemes Manager, NSI - Award sponsor: Fire and Security Association
