UsBIM.platform

Introduction

usBIM.platform is a collaborative tool that enables the direct connection of BIM and document files to the BIM. It is the first IFC Common Data Environment certified by buildingSMART International capable of managing the BIM process in openBIM.
In line with EN ISO 19650, it helps to manage information throughout the life cycle of a construction project and to store all data.
It was first released in 2019 by ACCA software. It is currently available in Italian, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and German.
It can be used in combination with the other integrated apps of the BIM management system usBIM.

Capabilities

Being a data sharing and collaborative working environment, usBIM.platform provides a variety of functionalities including the below:

• scalable storage capacity and flexibility;
• integration and saving of different file formats (IFC, BCF, DWG, DXF, PDF, OBJ, SKP, 3DS, RVT);
• projects design with BIM methodology and technology according to the indications of EN ISO 19650;
• data management and organisation in the cloud in compliance with the highest security standards;
• high-performance viewing;
• BIM model management, view and edition in the IFC format without any BIM Authoring software;
• integration of the digital model with additional documentation;
• model checking and clash detection;
• cost estimation, health and safety plans management;
• automatic data backup and disaster recovery features;
• open workspace.

Utilities

The software improves the effectiveness of data management for BIM projects. All project data is centralised, making it simpler to monitor and manage changes.

It provides a clear structure for information sharing. This improves communication between team members, increases the effectiveness of all work team operations, and reduce the risk of errors.

The platform has an intuitive interface and a practical accessibility from any device by offering security and usability.
