Uninsulated or poorly insulated pipes, vessels, and equipment represent a massive and continuous operational expense through heat loss and present a significant fire hazard. Rigid board insulation simply isn't practical for curved surfaces or complex geometries, leading to thermal gaps and installation challenges.

A rockwool roll (or blanket) is a flexible insulation material produced from molten basalt rock, which is spun into fine fibers and formed into a continuous blanket. It can be supplied plain or with a facing, such as Foil-Scrim-Kraft (FSK) for vapor control or with stitched wire mesh for added mechanical strength.
