Network
PAS 2080:2023 Carbon management in buildings and infrastructure, second edition, published by The British Standards Institution in March 2023, defines a network as a: ‘combination of interconnected assets (buildings and infrastructure) that provide services (e.g. water, power, transport) to society as part of a wider system.’
The word network might also refer to ay group of connected things, such as computers, people and so on.
