There are two parking bays in a council car park opposite the transport interchange building dedicated for electric charging. The car on the left is plugged into the charging unit and this is the first time Ive seen an electric car using a charging bay in the town. A sign states that the maximum stay in the bay while charging is 45 minutes. The Galashiels ASDA store has had electric car charging bays since 2012 NT4935 : Electric car charge points at ASDA, Galashiels.
