Vendor
The term 'vendor' refers to a dealer, distributor, merchant, or other seller providing goods or services. In British or traditional English this often referred to street merchants or vendors selling fruit or vegetables, in US English (and increasingly in British English) it is more often applied to any company or person that sells a product or service.
Vendor may also be used to refer to a person selling property such as a house.
