Asbestos Legal Requirements And Best Practice For Property Professionals And Clients, 4th Edition, published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in May 2021, defines a certificate of reoccupation as: ‘A document issued by a UKAS accredited organisation following the removal of asbestos by a licensed contractor.’
