Site acceptance testing
BG 88 Commissioning Responsibilities Framework, by Matt Lowry, published by BSRIA in January 2025, defines site acceptance testing (SAT) as: ‘A building system installation test undertaken on site to verify compliance with specified requirements. Examples are electrical cable continuity testing, pipework pressure testing and ductwork leakage testing.’
