Powered pedestrian doorset
A powered pedestrian doorset is defined in the Code of practice: Hardware for fire and escape doors, Issue 5 (published by DHF and GAI in November 2024) as a 'doorset for pedestrian passage only with one or more leaves that is moved, at least in one direction, by an external energy supply (e.g. electrically) instead of manual or stored mechanical energy.'
