Building entities for BIM
The Uniclass classifications, state that: “In ISO 12006-2, Entities include buildings and grounds, and other large-scale independent constructions such as bridges, roads, canals, tunnels, towers and dams.”
Uniclass 2015, (maintained and updated by the NBS) suggests that: “Entities are discrete things like buildings, bridges, tunnels etc. They provide the areas where different activities occur.”
