Water company
According to ‘Delivering better water management through the planning system’ (C787A), published by CIRIA in 2019, a water company is:
‘…a water and sewerage company, a ‘water only’ company or a new appointments and variations company (a limited company that provides water and/or sewerage service to customers in an area which was previously provided by the incumbent monopoly provider, or a site that is currently unserved by any water or wastewater infrastructure)
