Urban forest
Trees in Hard Landscapes, A Guide for Delivery, published by the Trees and Design Action Group in September 2014, defines an urban forest as: ‘…the overall tree population in a defined urban area.’
It defines urban forestry as: ‘…the planning, design, establishment and management of trees for their contribution to the physiological, sociological and economic well-being of urban society.’
