Timber Development UK
Timber Development UK (TDUK) was formed from the merger of two of the largest and longest established organisations in the supply chain, the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and the Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA).
Bringing these two associations together as one has created the largest, most comprehensive supply chain body in the UK, spanning from sawmill to specifier and all points in between. Timber Development UK will use this organisation to capitalise on the growing interest in designing with timber and to act as an agent of change towards more sustainable, low carbon forms of construction.
Timber Development UK currently has more than 1500 members, forming a network which stretches to every corner of the nation, and to more than 100 countries worldwide.

TDUK's vision is for timber to be the first choice for any construction project in the UK, and the best route to decarbonise the built environment.

- Demonstrate how timber can help accelerate a low-carbon, sustainable future for the UK construction industry.
- Connect the supply chain. By bringing together the largest supply chain network in the UK linking suppliers, architects, engineers, designers and contractors
- Lead best practice in timber construction and provide specifiers, architects and engineers which the knowledge and skills they need to use timber in their projects.
