Coefficient of expansion
Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, defines the coefficient of expansion as: ‘The rate of thermal expansion, typically taken as a percentage increase from 4°C for pure water where the density is at its lowest.’
