Rendering
Rendering is perhaps best described as applying a finish to something, traditionally this would have most commonly referred to the finish applied to a building surface; surface rendering or finish render. It may also have been used to describe applying the final realistic finish to a visual image, drawing or painting or hand rendering. Today, however the term is also very commonly used to describe the digital application of a finish, to for example to a computer generated graphic image or a three dimensional computer model of a building or product; digital rendering.
