Cubical
The term cubical in relation to buildings can be used to describe the shape of cube or a cubic form, one that is equal on all sides. The term may also be used more generally to describe something that relates to volume or the way volume is calculated. In this way it describes something which is cubed, to the power of three, or involving a third power such as is the case when calculating volume in metres 3 (cubed) or cubic metres.
Cubical should not be confused with cubicle which is a space, commonly within a building, that is partitioned or separated off from other areas, normally for privacy or to reduce distraction.
