Chamfer
A chamfer, is a type of cut or edging on a length of material, usually a carpentry term for timber cuts or mouldings but also used to describe other shaped materials. It describes the shape remaining after two cuts, if created manually. The first cut is a single non-right angle cut, often at 45 degrees, in which a bevel shape remains, this second cut removes the remaining corner to create two plains around the 90-degree corner lengthways.
