Sewerage licence
Water Bill, Glossary: water terms, published by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in November 2013, states: ‘A sewerage licence, introduced by the Water Bill, will allow entry into the market for wastewater and sludge services for the purpose of providing retail and/or upstream services. A licensee may hold one or more of three “authorisations” within a sewerage licence.’
A sewerage licensee is a holder of a sewerage licence.
