Security Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work, published by the RIBA in 2023, states: ‘The Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES) provides a list of suitably qualified and experienced security professionals. RSES promotes excellence in security engineering by providing a benchmark of professional quality against which its members have been independently assessed. Additionally the Register of Chartered Security Professionals has been established by Royal Charter granted to the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and managed by The Security Institute.’
