Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, states: ‘The term pressurisation unit is a general term that encompasses both dynamic pressure maintenance equipment and also top-up equipment. Typically, the term is most widely recognised as a top-up device. The secondary use is to provide pressure alarm feedback as a safety interlock.’
