Net-metering
Zero carbon building, Performance standard, Version 2, Published by the Canada Green Building Council in March 2021, defines net-metering as: ‘An arrangement with the electric utility that allows the export of excess green power to the local grid in exchange for a credit on the building’s electricity bill.’
