Megalitre
Water Bill, Glossary: water terms, published by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in November 2013, states: ‘One Megalitre is equal to 1000 cubic metres or one million litres. A standard Olympic-size swimming pool contains 2.5 ML of water.’
