PAS 8700:2025, Modern methods of construction for new build residential properties – Specification, Draft v 3.9, published by bsi in 2024, defines an MMC manufacturer as part of the: ‘…supply chain undertaking pre-manufacturing, including processes executed in remote factories, field factories or on-site “pop up” factories. NOTE Pre-manufacturing encompasses a manufacture led fabrication or consolidation process in controlled conditions prior to final assembly or install.’
