BG 29/2021 Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems, Amended 6th edition, written by Chris Parsloe and Martin Ronceray, published by BSRIA in partnership with the Closed Systems Control Association (CSCA) in March 2021, defines a flocculant or flocculating agent as a: ‘High molecular weight polymer that encourages particles to agglomerate.
