Approved document B, Fire Safety, Volume 2, Buildings other than dwellinghouses (2019 edition), suggests that ‘corridor access’ is:
'A design of a building containing flats, in which each flat is approached via a common horizontal internal access or circulation space, which may include a common entrance hall.’
