Approved document E: Resistance to the passage of sound, 2003 edition incorporating 2004, 2010, 2013 and 2015 amendments, defines C_tr as: ‘The correction to a sound insulation quantity (such as D_nT,w) to take account of a specific sound spectrum. See BS EN ISO 717-1:1997.’
