Whole wall panels
Offsite residential construction, Glossary of terms, published by Buildoffsite in 2018, states in relation to whole wall panels and partitions: ‘Traditionally the construction of internal walling systems has been an onsite construction process involving the adaptation and use of standard sized components to create walls of any size. This is a flexible approach and is particularly suited to the needs of the refurbishment sector. However, the installation process can be time consuming, and may involve a considerable amount of manual handling.’
