User acceptance
Smart Building Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work, published by the RIBA in 2024, states: ‘User acceptance is performed by the end user or the client to verify/accept the smart building system before moving the system to the ‘live’ environment. User acceptance is often structured around the smart building user journeys to ensure the information flows and activities which were intended have been delivered successfully.’
