Urban greening
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in March 2016, suggests that urban greening: ‘…describes the green infrastructure elements that are most applicable in central London and London’s town centres. Due to the morphology and density of the built environment in these areas, green roofs, street trees, and techniques such as soft landscaping, are the most appropriate elements of green infrastructure.’
