Strategic leader

Skills and Competency Framework, Supporting the development and adoption of the Information Management Framework (IMF) and the National Digital Twin, published by the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) in 2021, suggests that a strategic leader (in relation to the National Digital Twin - NDT) is someone: ‘…who thinks long term on both an organisational and national level. This individual helps to create and effectively communicate the strategic vision of the IMF (Information Management Framework) and NDT in a way that feel applicable to the majority and is easy to understand and cascade to others. This role takes the necessary opportunities for positive long-term change based on strategic priorities within the industry. They motivate groups of people to achieve common industry wide goals and are forward thinking in their approach. They champion the value of digital assets and data quality in a collaborative way.’
