Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation SNIPEF
The Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers’ Federation (SNIPEF) is the principal trade association for plumbing and heating businesses based in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
SNIPEF represents more than 750 member firms ranging from sole traders to large scale businesses. It also provides training for apprentices entering the plumbing trade.
The organisation was established in 1923 as the Scottish Federation of Plumbers and Domestic Engineers (Employers) Association. In 1975, Northern Ireland joined the federation, which brought about the name change.
