Rough-in

The 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), published by the International Code Council (ICC) defines rough-in as: ‘The installation of the parts of the plumbing system that must be completed prior to the installation of fixtures. This includes DWV (drain-waste-vent), water supply and built-in fixture supports.’
