Perimeter
Approved document B, Fire Safety, Volume 2, Buildings other than dwellinghouses (2019 edition), defines the perimeter of a building as:
'The maximum aggregate plan perimeter, found by vertical projection onto a horizontal plane. (See Section 15 of Approved Document B Volume 2.)'
