Off-road public transport
Urban Design Guidelines for Victoria, published by the State of Victoria (Australia) in 2016, defines off-road public transport as: ‘Public transport that runs on a network largely independent of streets and arterial roads. It includes light rail, metropolitan and regional rail. It does not include on-road public transport such as the metropolitan bus and tram network.
