Non-routine event

A non-routine event is: ‘An event that requires operatives to attend the site to clear a screen on an unplanned basis and not as part of their regular maintenance routine. Such events are often as a result of adverse weather conditions and a high flow content.’

Ref Culvert, screen and outfall manual, (CIRIA C786) published by CIRIA in 2019.
