Lowest working pressure component
Pressurisation of Closed Heating and Cooling Systems (BG82 2022), by Rob Clemson, published by BSRIA in October 2022, defines the lowest working pressure component (LWPC) as: ‘The component having the lowest allowable working pressure in the system i.e. the pipe or component that is essentially the weakest link in the system and which dictates the maximum pressure that can exist for the location in which the LWPC is installed.’
