Long-term investment scenarios LTIS
The National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England Glossary, published by the Environment Agency, defines long-term investment scenarios as: ‘evidence which the Government and others use to consider future policy and investment choices. LTIS 2019 is a policy that brings together the Environment Agency’s understanding of long-term investment scenarios for flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM). It uses new climate change, population and mapping data to set out potential future scenarios, assessing the costs and benefits of long-term investment to meet these challenges’.
