Local electrically heated
Approved document L, Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 2: Buildings other than dwellings, 2021 edition incorporating 2023 amendments, defines local electrically heated A domestic hot water system in which the water is supplied to the drawoff points from a device in which water is heated by an electric element or elements immersed in the stored water. The water heater is near the draw-off points and has a storage capacity of between 100 and 300 litres.’
