Gas quality standards
The Energy White Paper, Powering our Net Zero Future (CP 337), published in December 2020 by HM Government, defines the gas quality standards as: ‘…rules to ensure that the gases we use, including natural gas, biogas and hydrogen, meet all of the specifications needed to be safe and effective as an energy source.’
