Framework plans
The National Model Design Code, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government in January 2021, defines framework plans as: ‘A set of plans at local area or settlement level that detail spatial information, for example, street hierarchy, transport accessibility, open space, land use and patterns of built form.’
