Approved Document J, Combustion appliances and fuel storage systems, 2010 edition incorporating 2010, 2013 and 2022 amendments, defines a flue outlet as: ‘…the point at which the products of combustion are discharged from the flue to the outside atmosphere, such as the top of a chimney pot or flue terminal.’
