Energy intensive industries
UK Concrete and Cement Industry, Roadmap to Beyond Net Zero, published by MPA UK Concrete in 2020, defines energy intensive industries as: ‘sectors and industries where energy usage and costs are a high proportion of production costs and which include companies that are typically exposed to international competition.’
