Die
In a very broad sense, the word 'die' refers to a hard form or mould used to shape, press or pattern other materials.
The word has a number of meanings associated with the construction of buildings:
- Die as in a circuit board: Die circuit.
- Die as in a small cube or cubes (dice): Die cube.
- Die as in moulding or casting; Die casting.
- Die as in part of a pedestal; Die pedestal.
- Die as in a type of spring: Die spring.
- Die as in a metal press of cutting device: Die tooling.
