Advanced manufacturing technology
The glossary of statistical terms, published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), defines advanced manufacturing technology as: ‘…computer-controlled or micro-electronics-based equipment used in the design, manufacture or handling of a product.’
