Three-port valve

The Illustrated Guide to Mechanical Building Services, Third Edition (BG 31/2017), by David Bleicher, published by BSRIA in 2017, suggests that a three-port valve is: ‘A motorised, modulating control valve. It can be used to divert flow from one branch to another, or as a mixing valve to control flow temperatures.’
