Neutral-to-earth voltage
BSRIA Power quality guide (AG 2/2000) was written by C C Pearson and V Uthayanan and published by BSRIA in July 2000. It states:
Neutral-to-earth voltage, sometimes called "stray voltage," can result from:
- high resistance neutral or grounding connections
- high neutral currents
- undersized neutrals, or
- fault currents to earth or to equipment-grounding conductors.
