Nature conservation
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in March 2016, defines nature conservation as: ‘Protection, management and promotion for the benefit of wild species and habitats, as well as the human communities that use and enjoy them. This also covers the creation and re-creation of wildlife habitats and the techniques that protect genetic diversity and can be used to include geological conservation.’
